Dear
Friends,
We
recently had a yard sale at Westminster and made a couple thousand dollars
for mission selling people's unwanted treasures from attic and garage.
It was a win-win affair. People got great deals and folks got to rid
themselves of some clutter. Everybody had a great time whether donating,
shopping or staffing and many of us did all three.

Hours
Worship
services will be held at 10AM (dual services begin May 25). A staffed
nursery is available during the service.
Sunday School for Children is held during the worship service
The
Lord's Supper is celebrated the
first Sunday of every month.
Food
stuffs are collected for the Cape Henlopen Food Basket on the
second Sunday of every month.

Associate's Corner
How often have you heard it said that we must provide Christian Education
opportunities for children and youth because, “ They are the church of
the future! ” I know that those who utter such thoughts are well intentioned,
care about children and are devoted to the church. I just believe the
“children are the future of the church” concept is wrong. There are countless
solid reasons to support the church ’ s ministry to the younger generation.
Nurturing a strong Christian faith and practice, passing along our story,
fulfilling our baptismal vows as the family of God, caring about the future

What's in the Circle?
We
attended our last Thursday night choir rehearsal for the "season"
tonight. We will, of course, rehearse on Sunday mornings for the next
two weeks --- and we will enjoy the "time off" and the opportunity
to share the pews with you all. Of course I will miss those of you who
attend the 8:30 service --- it seems so early since I have been retired.
And with the changing season, our lives change once again. This one is
summer --- and kids and teachers are released from their schools --- many
to summer jobs. Some to solitary times, for which some are grateful and
