I'm just me, you know. Me, whoever that is. But I am someone. And I am just now beginning to realize what it means to be me. I belong to God. I am His creation and He loves me. For Heaven's sake! Me. God loves me, whoever that is. "Lord, do
you know all that I have done wrong?" We have all sinned and yet He loves us. Me, too. Sometimes I truly wonder just who I am. I know who I want to be. God would love that person whom I want to be, but who I am not, yet. I'm just me, whoever that is. And still God loves me. I, like you, am a person who tries to be what God wants me to be, most of the time. But sometimes, I am just me, a human, God's creation, a sinner and a sinner who knows better when I think about it. I seldom sin unwittingly. And then I ask forgiveness and God's grace. "Lord," I say. "It's me, again. I am truly sorry. How often can I ask your grace and forgiveness?" "Who is asking?" He answers. "Me," I say. "Again?" "Yes, Lord, again. It is me, your servant, Sally." "Good," He says. "Good!" That is when I know that it is good to be me, whoever that is. Perhaps that is when I begin to realize that life is a series of thoughts and events that can lead me to the life God has chosen for me, if I will follow Him. Love ya, Sally |
